There was another Minoan city down there in the distance, a commercial rather than a ceremonial one. It must have been cultivated for four thousand years or more.

The images are wonderful, are you still shooting Fuji? You sure have honed your eye for monochrome.

Thanks heaps George. Yes, my travel shots are now all Fuji, though I still use Nikon for live music. These were taken with an X-T2 and 10-24mm or 100-400mm, plus one 23mm f2 and one 56mm f1.2.

I love Fuji gear. I had the XPro3 and the XT3 before I retired, with the 16-55, 50-140, 8-16 and 200 f/2. Now I’m retired I only have the X100V left and I love it to bits 😀 Your monochromes are just wonderful.

Then I might do a live music post (Nikon) but apart from that I’ll next start on my recent trip to North Queensland. For that I took X-E4, X-T2, X-T2 IR, 4mm Laowa Fisheye (but hardly used), 8-16mm, 14mm (because 8-16mm was not supposed to be good for IR), 23mm f2, 35mm f1.4, 56mm (not good for IR), 80mm macro, 70-300mm and 200mm f2. I had intended to take the 27mm f2.8 instead of the 23, 35 and 56 but then discovered it was no good for IR.
