.
There will now be five posts of monochromes from the second half of my trip in Tasmania, before I resume with the trip back. The frequency of posts will also increase to about one every two days for the next three weeks, ahead of my next trip.
Links go to posts with the colour versions of the images (where there may also be more information). If an image does not have a link, use the preceding one.

Wow, this is a spectacular collection! Masterfully composed, captured and processed. I really enjoyed this post and look forward to more. Also, like slightly warmer b&w tonality.

Thanks very much indeed! The next post will also have the same toning. The three after that, being more to do with the sea, will have a cool toning.

Love your monochromes. We are currently in Waratah heading towards Cradle Mountain. Your posts give us inspiration on where to go.Bruny Island and Russell falls certainly inspired some great photos by you. Hope I can get good results as well.

Thanks very much Erich. Lots to inspire in Tassie. Never been to Waratah, I think. Haven’t much checked out that north-west corner.

These are just wonderful, Murray. Do you mind if I share some of the pandanni ones on my FB page Tasmania Stories?

Thank you and sure, be my guest. Incidentally, I’ll have some more pandani in snow in my recent Overland Track posts and OT monochromes.

Oh, I’ll have a look. Thanks! Have a look at the page if you would like to check. I’ll do it over the next few days. I wrote a post called “Ode to My Mad Friend” about pandanni. (Don’t know if the plural has an s?) Fortunately it’s not an ode haha.

“Owed to your mad friend” then perhaps?
OK, I’ll have a look.
