Somehow it seems almost heretical these days to show wildlife in mono, yet mono wildlife can often be commanding in its own right. Though there are colour versions of these images in previous posts, sometimes we may need to forget about the colour image.

Absolutely superb series of images Murray – there is a detail in these that can get overshadowed when represented in colour.

Thanks very much David. Yes, I think there is also a different feel to the colour versions and the boundaries of reality are different in mono.
