Nelson River.
Of course we all know that the camera never lies. If sometimes images look different to what we may have thought, this is because the camera knows better. For example, it can show us what all the colours were really like. Our brain controls how we see and sometimes it doesn’t work well enough. Then if we go back and look again, this is what we may see.

Golden rain has fallen on some of the trees.

We’re getting closer to the Gordon River now. Some of the eucalypts are starting to turn to their autumn colours.

There’s the entrance of the Gordon River up ahead.

And we are now at the Gordon River, still protected from loggers and dams.
