Sculpture Garden, National Gallery of Australia, Canberra, Australia, 23 October 2016
.
This was a Sunday afternoon where twenty-six of us from the Canberra Photographic Society and community organisation Photo Access undertook a challenge to create Art at the Art Gallery, in my case mainly outside it and in and around the Sculpture Garden.
.
All images are infrared. The first three were in a part of the Sculpture Gardens enveloped in mist while Fujiyo Nakaya’s Fog Sculpture was operating.

Reflections and views at Fugelman’s Cones.

Trees and their residents.

Logically, I should post next for Sydney Blues Festival and the excursion to Point Hicks but the images won’t be ready on time. So I expect I shall post aerial images between Madagascar and the Falkland Islands next, then the two posts I just mentioned and then the Falklands. Posting will continue to be slow for a while.
.
I am awestruck. So wonderfully creative and captured.

Wonderful imagery and what a stunning place! Sadly I haven’t been there, so thanks for sharing. The fog machine would have created some amazing scenes.

Thanks very much Lee. Yes, lots to photograph in the Sculpture Garden and the Gallery itself is always compelling.

Amazing views. My favorite is the one below the comment ‘Outside James Tyrell’s Skyspace.’

Thank you. Interesting choice. My favourites are probably the last one and the cones with red tree reflections.

It was a tough decision. Possibly because it had the most amount of sky in it. They are all stunning.

Ah, OK, you meant the one below the label, not as I assumed the one above.
