This look great, the moth is spectacular!
Whoa – chameleons eating shots!!! Whoa. And it looks like some of the neighborhoods in Tana don’t need to worry about a visit from the building codes inspector.
There are probably few opportunities for a career as a building inspector in Madagascar, especially in the South, where people may resent being told how to put their bits of wood in the mud.
There are rice farming villages inside Tana and many of those houses are on a flood plain. So every rainy season they have to decamp for higher ground.
WOW. I’ve missed you.
Back again briefly. Off to South Georgia Island (no internet of course) this afternoon for two weeks.
Superb shots, Murray! And I’m delighted there were no spiders 🙂
Thanks very much Stacy. Well, there were a few spiders, I’ve just not shown images. I saw a huge one on a web in a doorway in an abandoned building.
Yikes! Thanks for NOT sharing that 😉
Loving these pics Murray

Nice presentation!
You and I differ a bit, not only on skills but also on perspective –
you focus on the spectaculars while I take whatever comes my way… 🙂
Thanks Wayne.
It’s true I do go looking for images. It’s hard not to find the spectacular in Madagascar though.
