The pics of the Courtyard of the Myrtles are especially effective as duochromes.
Yes, it’s quite variable how well they work for different images. You drew to my attention duochromes vs duotones. I meant to say duotones, which is the usual expression. Duochromes is logically correct (we have monochromes after all, not monotones) but used in optics rather than photography.
