Stunning. Love Mawsons wheel by moonlight in particular.

I enjoyed the colour versions of these images and am surprised at the strength that comes through in the B&W versions, sometimes surpassing the colour. Interesting to see both, thanks for doing this Murray.

excellent edits at the saddle and the moonlight view – is this the Fuji Murray?

There’s a mixture. I took both a Fuji system and a Nikon system. I mainly used the Fujis during the day and the Nikons for long exposures at night.
The last three of Mawson’s wheel at night, the woolshed and the car are with the D3s. The incendiary display is with the D800. The Oonarta Creek trees, the nearby plain, the four-wheeled harrow (or whatever it is), the wheels at White’s Whim and Well, the road to The Saddle and the landscape at The Saddle were all with the X-E2 (IR), the remaining ten were with the X-T1.

Interesting Murray I remember you showing me the Fuji (though cant remember which model) – have been looking at the XT1 also probably going to get a D810 to replace the D800 – thanks

That would have been the X100s. Otherwise I had Nikons. I decided not to upgrade to the D810 and in any case I’m avoiding unnecessary expenditure at the moment due to the costs of my next trip. It will be interesting to see what the firmware update does for the X-T1 in a couple of days.
