Tobermory

Mull, Scotland.  Day 14 , 12th July.

.

I didn’t have much time on Mull because I had to catch a ferry to Oban that afternoon.  I had hoped to go for a drive and a walk or two on the west coast but I had to get my laundry done and since that wasn’t a service offered where I was staying, I had to return to Tobermory.

Fortunately, Tobermory is an attractive little town and even better, it was unusually foggy that morning.

From the wharf, here are lobster pots stacked up and the town in the mist in the background.

I would guess you would get this boat for a really good price if you could find the owner.

No doubt a very picturesque town in fine weather and even better in the fog.

Thanks for the visit. My great-grandfather immigrated from Scotland as a boy of 13. Hopefully, I’ll truly get to visit the land one day!
