I’m curious as to what feelings do you have when you get to such places. Like, it’s a job? It’s total awe. It’s mystorial (heh…I don’t think that’s a word either).

No, it’s not a job although there’s an element of process that takes over in the taking of the pictures. There’s awe and wonder and hopefully I’ve done enough prior research to understand something of the significance of where I am. Then there’s the aesthetic – the appreciation of the art that people have deliberately or inadvertently created and the wonders of nature which provide a kind of cathartic meditation.
