New Orleans, USA, 5th November 2014.
This it appears was a day for wandering around the French Quarter, taking photos of the charming old houses.
.
Aftermath of the election, which happened the day before.
.
Very cute but even if long, must be very small.
.
Little need for comment on most of these….

Colourful decorations and the Dalai Lama peeping out of the window.
.
The interesting thing about this house is it appears to be a front door but behind it is still outside.

Thanks very much Angie!
I’m surprised it seems so deserted. And yet everything is in good condition. I don’t know whether this area was affected by Katrina. I was last in NO a couple months before the storm and have not been back since.
Most of the images are from back streets, which may help explain the lack of people. I’m pretty sure this area was high enough not to be affected by the floods.
Incredible variety and such well kept homes, I love all the different styles and colours.
Yes, it’s wonderful just wandering round the streets.
