The day’s travel was from Reyðarfjörður to Hofn.  Numbers for pins on the map correspond to particular images.

Probably somewhere near Breiðdalsvik.

Djupivogur at around 6pm.  This is mid to late afternoon since sunset is nine or ten.  Not significantly changed in post-production.  Just an extremely dark sky.

Clearly a petrified dinosaur or a marine reptile in the sand. Perhaps a short-necked pliosaur such as Kronosaurus.
