Small waterfall beside the road.

On our way down from the summit of Mount Wellington, we stopped to walk along the Organ Pipes Track.  We were probably fortunate that it was a wet day and not a weekend because there are not many places to park here and the competition can be intense.

We’ll see a rock formation called the Organ Pipes in due course but I was probably more impressed with the wild landscape we walked through, the rocks, the trees, the moss and the lichen.

I had brought a macro lens but didn’t bring it on this day.  This is just with a telephoto.
