New Orleans, USA, 3rd and 6th November 2014.
Karma, Do Ho Suh.
Late in the afternoon we headed for the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOLA), which was closed, but we were still able to visit the Sculpture Garden.
.
Pablo Casal’s Obelisk, Armand Pierre Fernandez 1983.
.
Window with Ladder – Too Late for Help, Leandro Erlich 2006.
.
Travellin’ Light, Alison Saar 1999.
.
.
Mother and Child, Fernando Botero 1988.
.
.
.
Why waste time just looking at the sculptures when you can perhaps become one?
.
Some of the sculptures were mobile.

Three days later we came back to visit the Museum or Art and later passed through the Sculpture Garden again on the way to the Botanic Gardens.

Great garden but love the duck images the best, that first one is superb.

They’re coots, actually. Yes that image does work well. My favourite is probably the first bird on the sculpture.

It was a real surprise. We just found it by accident. There’s a post coming up on the Museum of Art which is also small and impressive.
