I’d looked for Blues venues in New York before we went there and found Terra Blues which is in Bleeker Street in Grenwich Village and it was not long before we went there. We found it a friendly relaxed venue and saw some great music there.

All these images are taken with the X100 which was surprisingly viable considering it has just a fixed 35mm equivalent lens, though it did help that we were able to get a table at the front. The low light was pushing the capacity of the camera but the images hold together quite well.

Thanks very much Andreas. If I remember it was tungsten lighting rather than LED. LED lighting adds an extra level of difficulty. I do a lot of live music.
